A word about our software templates: We have software templates in Adobe Illustrator that you are welcome to use for laying out your artwork. You will need to have a copy of the specification in front of you when using the software template. The template is blank with guidelines, and is ready for you to drop your artwork in. The specifications have important information like bleeds, folding info, layout info, etc. You need them!

A word about pdf: PDF stands for Portable Document Format, a miraculous cross-platform format created by Adobe Systems, Inc., that can be read on any computer. All of the documents on our web site are available on our FTP site in PDF format. You will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to view PDF files. If you have any Adobe software, or you do a lot of web surfing, you probably already have the Reader on your computer. It is available free of charge from Adobe and can be downloaded from

A word about ftp: FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. FTP is the main way our clients send us artwork files and find templates. You can use your browser or FTP client application to upload or download files from an FTP site, depending on the access settings for the directory you're viewing.
