    The Slim DVD (or EcoDisc) is a major step towards making multimedia green friendly. The new disc holds 4.7 GB yet is only half as thick as a conventional DVD, weighing in at just 8 grams. It’s bendy and flexible, won’t break and requires way less energy to produce and distribute. In fact Slim DVDs use 54% less CO2 per disc in production than normal DVDs. Plus these discs don’t use bonders which makes them 100% recyclable. This is the way to go for DVD-Videos and DVD-ROMs when being green is important to you and your customers.
